Candy Cane Ornament
Christmastime {November 1st until January 31st} is the absolute best time of the year! We get into all things Christmas here, playing holiday music nearly nonstop, reading Christmas bedtime stories every night, massive amounts of holiday cookie baking, Christmas crafts, Christmas decorating and enjoying the twinkling lights in the snow, to name a few. One thing my kids love is making decorations and ornaments.

It's almost here...
Was it bad of me to hoard a pumpkin bucket full of hard candy solely to decorate gingerbread houses? I'm so excited for this project I can hardly stand it! Nerd sidewalks....sucker street lights...Smarties shingles...those Twizzler pull-n-peels....oh, the possibilities! We've been playing Christmas music since the day after Halloween and the decorations will start going up this week. If you have a good gingerbread recipe to share for house making, I would love to see it!
